Inside: Havas Village Tunis

“Tunisians are known for their sense of humor,” says the Havas Village Tunis team. “That’s definitely affected our culture and way of working.”

But take a step inside the office, and you’ll see that the team is no joke. Thanks to inspiring views from the rooftop terrace and Village-wide brainstorm sessions, they’re producing stellar work like “Recycle to Learn,” a campaign for UBCI that won a dozen industry awards over the past year.

During our visit, we discovered just how the Tunis Village is fostering a collaborative and creative environment—and learned why working together always pays off.

Take the tour with us below.

The Mag: Tell us a bit about the office. Where does everyone like to gather?

Tunis: At the Village, we feel like a family. So it’s not just a workspace. It’s also our home. Here, we have a few great places for relaxation and inspiration, including a break room and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Tunis.

The Mag: What makes your Village a great place to work?

Tunis: Because we’re a Village, we do many things together as a team, including breakfast every week and drinks after work. We also maintain our health through nutrition advisors and massages. And then we have an annual tradition in which we bring everyone together at a nice venue to celebrate the year that has passed and the promising new year to come.

The Mag: What recent work is most talked about around the office?

Tunis: We’re very proud of our work with UBCI called “Recycle to Learn.” This campaign committed to education has won several industry awards, including Dubai Lynx, Mobius Festival, Epica Festival, Cristal Festival, and Loeries.

The Mag: How do you collaborate?

Tunis: Working in an open space, we’re able to easily exchange ideas and maintain fluid communication between departments. This allows us to constantly learn from each other how to overcome challenges and more successfully help our clients.

We brainstorm daily to keep ideas fresh, inviting all teams to give their opinions and suggest ideas. The Village is like a beehive of inspiration.

The Mag: What does being a Village mean to you?

Tunis: It’s an environment that allows us to share experiences and skills from all different backgrounds. It’s a place where deep collaboration between teams makes us stronger and leads to better results.
